Hey Philly! Looking for a beginner dance class or just a fun Thursday night out? You're in the right place! We offer multiple levels of Lindy Hop & Swing Dance lessons -- no partner or experience required -- followed by a social dance party to the city's best swing DJs, plus a live band in January and Philly Christmas Market celebration on December 21st! Don't forget that you can save $2 on admission when you register a day or more in advance!
All Thursday night swing dance classes & social dance events are held at our new venue -- 1336 Spring Garden St, Philadelphia, PA 19123. All Tuesday night classes are held at the Philadelphia Ethical Society at 1906 Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia, PA 19143.

December 2: Tandem Charleston with Alyssa & Gianfranco
The ultimate "wow" move and one of the most fun positions in Lindy & Charleston. Drop in, tandem out! Prior charleston experience highly recommended. | $20 / $15 students
December 9: Texas Tommy's with Kate & Mike
Hop on your trusty stead and giddy up on over to the Ethical Society to dive into Texas Tommy’s on Tuesday with Sheriff Mike and Cowboy Kate. They’ll take you on a tour of the famous move and many of its finest variations. | $20 / $15 students
December 16: Air Steps with Rose & Max
Ready for takeoff! 🛫 Come learn the Frog Jump and other evolutions of this fundamental Air Step! No partner or experience is required. We will be starting from the ground up, and will give you plenty to work on as you safely take your moves higher and higher. | $20 / $15 students

Lindy 101 Lesson:Â Intro to Lindy Hop & Jazz with Giavanna Townsend & Hank Goldenberg
Drop in any week & learn the basics of Lindy Hop and a few solo jazz moves in this beginner-oriented class. This class will have some overlapping and some new elements every week, and we recommend taking it multiple times before advancing to the topics class.

December 11th: Clothing Swap + Classes & Dance
Bring up to 5 clothing items to swap. There are two rules: clothes must still be in great condition, and you must leave with as many items as you came with.

December Drop-in: Technique Tune-up with Special Guests Hanna Yanello & Tim Christopher
Keep it movin’ with Hanna & Tim! In this class, you will get a peek into rotational play, flow, and maintenance of momentum. Come through! Recommended for students that have taken series classes before or higher level.

Don your swim suits and bring your sweets -- it's time for our goofiest theme night yet. That's right, since it always feels like summer at Jazz Attack, lean into it for a beach themed holiday party, and bring along your favorite desserts to swap with your swing dance community!

Lindy Hop and jazz have a have a culturally rich history dating back over 100 years. Born of the artistry and innovation of Black dancers and musicians, and passed down orally and physically through generations, we take great care in sharing this art form in a way that is true to these sounds, styles, and values while encouraging the innovation that is hallmark of all Black social dances.
