Hey dancers! Ready for an amazing month of dancing? We have beginner-friendly and more advanced lessons every week, and Philly favorite Josh Fialkoff returns for live music on the 12th! All events are held at the Philadelphia Ethical Society (1906 Rittenhouse Square).
So whether you're taking your first syncopated steps or you're here for your hundredth Lindy Hop lesson & dance, we've got the perfect Thursday night in Philly for you.
October 5th
8-9pm:
Lindy 101 Lesson: Intro to Lindy Hop & Jazz with Jenna Whiting & Mike McDermott
Topics Lesson: Micro-Musicality with Steve Fox
Price: $10 ($7 for students), +$5-15 sliding scale for the intermediate lesson (+$3 for students)
9-11pm: Social Dance with DJ Marjorie Bartell

Don't even think about dancing without a costume! Or do, but like, come have a ton of fun and revel in the spirit of mischief. Costume contest winners get awesome prizes!

October 27-29: Swing Aus | Lancaster, PA | not a Jazz Attack event Swing Aus is a full weekend-long workshop that punches above its weight. They're bringing in NYC heavyweights Laura Glaess & AJ Howard, plus Baltimore's finest Jon Tigert & central PA star Carla Crowen. Music by Chelsea Reed & the Fair Weather Band AND the Boilermaker Jazz Band. Legendary!! These passes are almost sure to sell out.
