Hey dancers! This month (and every month) we celebrate Lindy Hop & Jazz's origins as Black art forms. In recognition of that, all of our events this month will center Black dancers and musicians in our lessons and DJ sets. Plus, all lessons will be FREE with admission. Events are held at the Philadelphia Ethical Society (1906 Rittenhouse Square).
Whether you're taking your first syncopated steps or you're here for your hundredth Lindy Hop lesson & dance, we've got the perfect Thursday night in Philly for you.
February 1st

Lindy 101 Lesson: Intro to Lindy Hop & Jazz with Lauren Fosnight & Max VerNooy
Topics Lesson: Classic Solo Jazz & Chester Whitmore Moves with Steve Fox

Topics Lesson: Queens of the Nightclub with Special Guest Hannah Lane -- There's an entire class of Jazz dancers that have been left out of the era's storyline in modern retellings... until now. Hannah Lane's original research is bringing the stories of shake dancers and their contributions to jazz dance into the conversation -- come get inspired!

February 15th: LIVE BAND DOUBLE DANCE at Jazz Attack's "Red or Black" Valentine's / Anti-Valentine's Dance ft. Chelsea Reed & the Fair Weather Band
It's double dance time! Strap in for four hours with Chelsea Reed & the Fair Weather Band. Buy tickets to the 7-9pm 'Early Bird' session, the 9-11pm 'Night Owl' session, or both! Plus, wear red if you think Valentine's Day is a real holiday, or wear black if you think it's all just a corporate marketing scheme.

Pick your clip, and our two instructors will show you how to break it down and make it your own!
