It's Always Lindy in Philadelphia is back and better than ever thanks to your feedback from Episode 1. Join us for a celebration of Lindy, jazz, and the people that make it awesome -- a celebration that pairs the artists you know and love with the ones you're about to, hosted by the biggest little scene here in Philly.
Tickets release 1pm Eastern Friday, August 7th for a flash sale through midnight August 9th. However, we have limited spots per track & role, so we highly recommend setting your Friday alarm to have the best shot at discounted tickets in your preferred track / role.

Where does this take place?
Old City, Philadelphia, so if you're driving, be sure to give yourself time to park at a local garage or street parking.
Track 1 & 2 Workshops, culture talks, and the Friday & Saturday social dance take place at the Arch St. Meeting House - 320 Arch St, Philadelphia, PA 19106
Track 3 workshops will take place at Concierge Ballroom - 30 S 7th St, Philadelphia, PA 19106
Sunday afternoon's social dance will take place at a park in Old City
The Sip & Swing Sunday after party will take place at a venue to be announced shortly

When do tickets go on sale?
Friday 8/7 at 1pm Eastern. Set those alarms to snag flash sale rates! Our flash sale will run through Sunday 8/9, but passes are limited by role & track, so sign up early for the best shot!
For locals, we'll have in-person pre-sale at Jazz Attack on 8/6.​

Which workshop track should I take?​
Check out the level descriptions in the "Tickets" section! If you're not sure, we recommend placing yourself on the lower of the two tracks you're choosing between.​
What should I do if I'm completely new to this?
Welcome! Tracks 1-3 are for dancers with prior experience, so you should snag a dance pass for your night(s) of choice, and drop in to the beginner class 30 minutes before the dance that evening. We'll get you up to speed in no time!

Can I buy passes to individual workshops / one day?
No, workshop passes can only be purchased for the full weekend. If we have spares closer to the event we may release a limited number of one-day passes.
Can I buy a dance pass / passes to individual dances?
Friday & Saturday evening social dance passes are available. Rittenhop and the Sip & Swing do not require tickets.

How / what should I submit for a Track 3 audition video?
Audition videos should be at least a minute long and show you dancing through a variety of movements and rhythms. While we will review all video types, the best videos will have fantastic swingouts, a bpm of 160 or higher, and a focus on social dancing. If based on your video we think you'll get more out of Track 2 we'll automatically shift you there. Email your YouTube, Google Drive, or Instagram video link to kate@jazzattackswings.com, mike@jazzattackswings.com, and nick@jazzattackswings.com within 7 days of registering (bonus points for same day). Use the subject line "[Your Name] Track 3 Audition Video 2026". We'll notify you of your track placement status by August 15th, September 1st, or September 15th depending on your video submission date. Don't delay! We only have 20 spots per role in Track 3 and once we're full, we're full.​​

What is the floor like?
The Arch Street Meeting House's floor is medium-speed historic hardwood with good support. We recommend relatively slick shoes with suede or leather soles. Avoid rubber-soled shoes.

Concierge Ballroom has a medium-speed floor made for ballroom dance.
​
Rittenhop is outdoors on rough concrete. Wear supportive shoes!

Are there competitions?
There may be one chill mix & match. We'll see. It's not a competition-centric event.

Is housing provided?
There may be a very limited amount of local housing available. You're best off messaging a friend in the area, or posting in our Facebook Group or Discord to find a host.

Are volunteering / Pay it Forward passes available?
We welcome volunteers! Sign up & pay for your desired track and receive a $20/hr reimbursement for all hours worked at the end of the weekend, up to your ticket cost. If you are unable to pay the ticket cost, email steve@jazzattackswings.com to arrange a Pay it Forward / reduced price option, and cc max@jazzattackswings.com if you're interested in volunteering. Please ask! We're here to work with you -- it's what we do :)

What is your refund policy?
Cancellation before August 25th: 100% Refund
Cancellation August 25th through September 17th: 50% Refund
Cancellation after September 17th: No Refund
Refunds will not be offered on account of not getting into your desired workshop track.​
